Public non-government pension fund (NPF) “Social Standart” founded in 2004 is one of the oldest and most experienced NPF in Ukraine. The founders of the Fund are PJSC “KINTO” and “Kvazar-Micro Techno”. The purpose of the Fund is to secure social protection to the companies-founders’ employees as well as to provide such possibility to other legal entities and individuals. The NPF “Social Standart”:
Contributions to NPF paid by the employer for the benefit of the company’s employees are treated as company’s gross expenses and are exempt from obligatory social security contributions and individual income tax. A corporate contributor himself defines the range of the NPF participants, periodicity and amount of pension payments. This allows to develop the general motivational plan on the basis of NPF or to create incentive system for the most valuable employees without the problem to renew manpower. The non-state pension from NPF is paid additionally to the state pension and irrespectively of it. Availability and amount of non-state pension do not have any influence on the amount of state pension. The NPF’s profit is distributed among its participants in proportion with the amounts at the individual’s pension accounts and is not a subject to taxation. Public pension fund “Social Standart” is registered 19.10.2004 as a financial institution (registration No. 12100593), certificate PF No. 11.
